Revelation (Ḥazon) Chapter 13
reveals one of the most intense moments in prophetic Scripture. It describes two beasts—one rising from the sea and the other from the earth.
The first beast represents political power and global control, a system or leader empowered by the dragon, which is Satan. It gains authority over nations and demands worship through deception and fear. The second beast, known as the False Prophet, performs miracles to persuade the world to follow the first.
Together they create a counterfeit trinity—Satan, the Beast, and the False Prophet. Their goal is total domination over humanity through false worship and the infamous mark of the beast, “so that no one may buy or sell unless they have the mark” (Ḥazon 13:17).
Yet even in this darkness, the chapter reminds us that only those whose names are written in the Book of Life of the Lamb will remain faithful. It is…
