About the event
Revelation 15 is like a deep breath in heaven before the final storm touches the earth. Yoḥanan looks up and sees another sign in the heaven, great and marvellous, seven messengers holding the seven last plagues, because in them the wrath of Elohim is completed. This tells us that what is coming is not random anger. It is the last, measured part of YHWH’s cleansing work.
He then sees the sea of glass mixed with fire and those who overcame the beast, his image, his mark, and the number of his name. They stand on that shining sea, holding harps of Elohim. Before we read about any bowls of wrath, heaven shows us the overcomers already safe, already standing, already singing. Their song is the song of Mosheh and the song of the Lamb, a song that praises YHWH for His great and marvellous works and declares that all nations…
